There are hotels in and around downtown Seattle for all price ranges.
We particularly enjoy the South Lake Union area of Seattle, which has a convenient trolley to travel the mile or so to downtown proper. If you're interested in staying in this area, there are a few options, the Silver Cloud Inn is a reasonably priced hotel, or there are suites available at the Marriott Residence Inn.
If you are interested in camping at Deception Pass, there is a campsite in the state park.
